The kid who dreamed of traveling the world

Sipping coffee during cold winters in the Swiss Alps is the ultimate dream of mine. I can even imagine myself working in Switzerland as a coffee barista because the thought of calmness and aesthetic filled rooms makes me all warm and cozy. Well, that was before I knew the world outside my fairytale bubble. I grew up and saw the madness and chaos in the realm of reality; beyond the horizon that I created, I saw the horror of injustices and corrupted minds of people. Once I saw the insanity, I had an epiphany to explore the world and learn everything because some part from that little girl sparked a curiosity to change the world.

Traveling is more than just luxury and past-time; it’s greater than learning through academic walls, for it gives us the experience to sense and meet wondrous kinds of people. We became much self-aware, and it provides us with this understanding of why we exist in this world full of uncertainty. Learning and meeting people from across the globe gives me a hit of adrenaline to pursue and write their current state. I want to write a journal and create documentaries depicting war, famine, inequality, and injustices. I want to use my voice and platform to spread awareness to young generations; I want them to see much more than meets the eye.

I hope little girls and boys would see this and realize that they are more than their gender; they are capable of creating millions of possibilities that they can ever imagine. Like the little kid I used to be, I want her to know that she is more than the dumb and funny kid she is known for, but she is now capable of creating stories through her writing that can change a bit of the world.
